AUCKLAND, Today: Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand has welcomed Rob Flynn back to the fold. Previously with Saatchi & Saatchi for 14 years where he rose to be the agency’s design lead, he returns to take up the role as head of design after 3+ years with DDB Aotearoa.
Saatchi CCO Steve Cochran said: “I lost count of the number of messages I got from people here, but also from outside Saatchi, advocating for us to hire Rob if we could.
“Fortunately, we could. He’s certainly a popular man, and I know it’s not just because of that smile.
“Saatchi & Saatchi is in my blood, and I already feel totally at home.”
“Rob will take responsibility for Saatchi & Saatchi’s design output and lead the team of five designers.
“Head of design is a key role in terms of collaborating with the creative teams, working with the studio team, and inspiring his designers to brilliance.”
Rob Flynn said: “Having been back in The Strand for the last few weeks freelancing, I already feel totally at home.
“Saatchi & Saatchi is in my blood, so it’s great to be able to come back.
“But as familiar as it is, there’s a whole new Saatchi family here now, and so I’m very excited and energised to work with them all.”
