CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday: Sumner-based full-service creative agency Not Another has officially received B Corp certification, which recognises a commitment to using business as a force for good, meeting high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.
B Corporations are businesses that prioritise the wellbeing of people, the planet, and profit, and are certified by B Lab, a nonprofit organisation. joining a network of 6000 B Corp businesses across 159 industries and 86 countries.
High profile B Corps include Patagonia, Ben & Jerry’s, Warby Parker, and The Body Shop overseas, as well as Stuff, Kiwibank, Ethique, and Kathmandu in New Zealand.
Not Another co-founder Adrien Taylor said: “Since founding Not Anothe here in Christchurch, we have always been committed to creating positive social impact through our work, and becoming a B Corp aligns with our values and mission of creating brands that are creating a positive future.”

To achieve B Corp certification, Not Another went through a rigorous assessment process that evaluated the company’s impact on its workers, customers, community, and the environment.
The certification process also required Not Another to make a legally binding commitment to consider the impact of its decisions on all stakeholders, not just shareholders.
A B Corp must obtain a minimum of 80 points in a rigorous auditing process to obtain certification. Not Another reached 83.6.

In the past few years, Not Another has produced brands for the likes of EV charging companies and purpose-led online banks, and created award-winning campaigns for Netsafe on porn awareness, Facebook on scam prevention, and the Human Rights Commission asking Aotearoa to dial down the hate online post-Covid.
