AUCKLAND, Wednesday: Whittaker’s has appointed Soraya Cottin as their new chief marketing officer. The choc-maker says she brings significant international marketing experience of working with major global food and other consumer brands.
Whittaker’s co-chief operating officer Holly Whittaker said: “This key appointment, coupled with Whittaker’s recent appointment of its new creative agency, Bastion Shine, is an important milestone for the brand.
“Soraya brings an international perspective to how we continue to build Whittaker’s reputation for making world class chocolate from right here in New Zealand and being responsive to Whittaker’s chocolate lovers here as well as in other markets.”

Cottin worked previously in executive roles in various agencies, most recently for DDB Paris, and is fluent in both English and French.
She has also worked in agency roles in the UK and has previously spent time in New Zealand with her partner who is from Wellington.
