While most advertising is targeting people outside the industry, this time leading rural print and digital publishers Rural News Group, has launched a campaign designed to get advertisers’ attention.
As well as their knowledge of the rural world, Rural New Group also knew it needed an attention grabbing prize to get the attention of the attention-seekers.
The challenge has been set. Advertisers simply need to demonstrate their rural nous by answering a quick question about the rural market each week and they’re in to win the incredi-bull Farm to Fiji Escape for two to Fiji, complete with $ 1000 spending money.
A new 60-second quiz will be released each Tuesday for the coming four weeks. 60-seconds of effort, with a massive potential tropical upside – a week in Fiji, including five nights at the intimate and secluded Matamanoa Island Resort.
Rural News Group has made it super-easy to get the answers right – with a downloadable PDF summarising the results of the Nielsen CMI Rural Survey available to help out. And, their sales team is on call, if anyone needs direction with the answers!
“The results of the latest Nielsen CMI Rural Survey continue to show that Rural Print is the most trusted and influential media segment for commercial farmers. Our quiz has been designed to help demonstrate the reach, trust and influence our brands have within the market,” says General Manager Adam Fricker. “And it’s a bit of fun – with great upside for one lucky participant.”
Publisher Brian Hight founded Rural News Group in 1988 and coined the initial Rural News tagline To All Farmers – For All Farmers.
“That line is just as true today. Our publications are delivered to every commercial RD address and are supported with online channels. We cover all facets our rural community cares about – because we are part of that community.”
