Local outdoor advertising specialists Go Media have launched a new giant digital billboard in Auckland’s CBD, with a huge audience including motorway commuters.
The site reaches 155,000 people in a week*, making it Go Media’s highest performing digital billboard site, and likely the entire country.
Located on the ‘Sugar Tree’ apartments on Union Street, the 5m x 10m screen is seen from the busiest and slowest section of Auckland’s motorway system, where the northwestern and southern motorways meet and carry audiences northbound.
The screen is also seen by audiences exiting the motorway at Spaghetti Junction heading towards Ponsonby, Freemans Bay and Herne Bay.
“Over the past 18 months, we’ve made significant progress in the development of high-quality roadside digital billboards for the Auckland market,” says Dae Chun, Auckland Group Sales Manager at Go Media. “We are thrilled to launch the only digital billboard in Auckland that is viewable from the motorway, capturing unrivalled attention throughout the day.”
Go Media’s roadside digital billboard network currently sits at 112 screens nationwide, with this tally being extended last week with the conversion of a Wellington Classic 4m x 8m site on Victoria Street, at the Dixon Street intersection.
