The Monkeys Aotearoa, part of Accenture Song, is pleased to announce the appointment of new creative team, Zac Nairn and Casey Clarke, who start effective immediately.
Art director Nairn and copywriter Clarke are an award-winning creative team hailing from Australia. The duo made their mark at Sydney independent agency Dig and arrive at The Monkeys off the back of their recent Cannes Young Lions win, where they took home gold in the global round of the competition.
They will be joining The Monkeys Aotearoa creative department, led by Chief Creative Officer Damon Stapleton and creative directors James Conner and Christie Cooper.
Nairn says: “Everyone in Sydney was getting a bit sick of us, so when Damon offered us a whole new country of people to work with, it was a no brainer.”
Clarke adds: “We’re really excited about the creative freedom the Kiwi industry has on offer, and The Monkeys feels like the perfect place for us to grow and make great work.”
The Monkeys Chief Creative Officer Damon Stapleton concludes: “I first met Zac and Casey in Cannes where they’d just won the Oscar for best young creative team in the world – so there’s no doubt they’re brilliant. We’re really excited to welcome them to the agency. Their dogs seem nice too.”
