AUCKLAND, Today: PEDIGREE and Colenso BBDO have unveiled PEDIGREE® GoodPoints™, a new initiative aimed at helping more shelter dogs find forever homes.
Building on PEDIGREE’s 20-year effort to end dog homelessness, GoodPoints™ lets dog owners earn points with every PEDIGREE purchase. These points can be donated to help shelter dogs, making every pet parent a Dream Maker.
This touching campaign features a film by director Joel Kefali and Good Oil, starring Winnie, a Schnauzer Jack Russell x New Zealand Heading Dog adopted three years ago.
“Lots of kids dream of getting a dog. We thought it would be powerful to show the other side of that story.” – Simon Vicars
“Lots of kids dream of getting a dog. We thought it would be powerful to show the other side of that story. While we dream of a life with a dog, a shelter dog dreams of a life with us,” says Simon Vicars, Chief Creative Officer, Colenso BBDO.
“Working with the team at Colenso and my very talented crew to realize Dream Maker was a privilege. The old adage ‘never work with children and animals’ definitely doesn’t ring true this time,” reflects Kefali.
Dream Maker has launched in Mexico and will soon roll out globally.
