Steven Adams levels up with Meadow Fresh in epic anime style

AUCKLAND, Today: Steven Adams, the Meadow Fresh ambassador and die-hard milk fan, is showing off how he became more awesome by drinking a Meadow Fresh Quick Brekkie.

DDB Aotearoa and Meadow Fresh have just dropped their latest campaign, putting Steven in a surprising spotlight—this time, as an anime character.

The ad kicks off with an animated basketball player, soon revealed as Steven Adams, an anime enthusiast. After grabbing his Quick Brekkie, Steven transforms in true Super Saiyan style, with all the iconic energy and thunder effects.

After grabbing his Quick Brekkie, Steven undergoes a Super Saiyan-style transformation, complete with energy balls and thunder, reminiscent of Dragon Ball Z. All thanks to Meadow Fresh Quick Brekkie’s power.

“When the big man says, I like anime. You make an anime,” says Freddie Coltart, DDB Aotearoa Creative Director. “It was a dream for all us creative nerds.”

Jennifer Jones, Meadow Fresh Marketing Manager, expressed their excitement in working with Steven. “Steven is not just the animated face of the campaign, he helped develop the product, has been invested in its creation since the start, and really enjoyed his first time in a recording studio!” she said.

She added, “We are proud to show the power of a Meadow Fresh Quick Brekkie in a fun, engaging way.”

Steven’s anime version isn’t just in the ad—he also appears on the product packaging. The new range even features his personal favourite flavour, Vanilla.
