Sling & Stone appointed by Pathfinder to showcase ethical investments

Communications agency Sling & Stone has been appointed by New Zealand’s ethical KiwiSaver provider Pathfinder following a competitive pitch process.

The agency’s brief is to show how easy it is to invest ethically, while still making good returns, and positioning Pathfinder as a provider Kiwis can feel good by being with.

Sling & Stone will undertake an integrated approach spanning media relations, thought leadership, social media and building community through events and advocacy.

Shared principles

Lily Richards, Creative Director, Pathfinder, says it was crucial to select an agency that shares its principles of being changemakers, leading bravely and thinking differently.

“We have done just that. Sling & Stone stood out not only for its strategic work in the financial services sector but also creative flair – a difficult combo to do within our industry. Their ability to tune in to our mission and craft authentic, compelling stories that resonate with our audience is what made them a clear choice.”

Sian Church, Head of New Zealand, Sling & Stone adds, “Pathfinder’s commitment to transparency and authenticity is industry leading, which is what excited us about the brief and makes it a perfect match for our deep experience working with financial disruptors. The calibre of brands we’re getting to work on continues to be outstanding and Pathfinder is a brand that fits within our wheelhouse.

Pathfinder is owned by Alvarium, a New Zealand-based wealth management boutique.
