Mark Benseman, formerly of Designworks has joined design agency Hula as Creative Director. Hula is the design force behind sister brand Uno Loco, NZ’s best known business event producers.
According to CEO Blair Glubb “a lot of Hula’s work is in the B2B space, so it goes below the ‘above the line’ radar. But clients like Vodafone, Coke, Fonterra, Bayleys, Xero, Tourism NZ and New Zealand Trade and Enterprise value our understanding of their business and how we help them solve complex problems”.
Mark has an impressive portfolio of work in brand identity, packaging and corporate comms. He was drawn to Hula as an agile, independent local agency and he’s looking forward to a reunion with former colleague, and Director of Brand & Design David Lyall.
Lyall sees a big opportunity to deliver pragmatic branding solutions for NZ businesses. “In a post-COVID world brands need to connect more than ever. But they want their investment spent on things their customers value, not on pointless agency processes”.
Hula have also recently appointed Marela Glavaš into the role of Project Manager Key Accounts. Glavaš is responsible for the seamless management and delivery of major projects from concept through to execution in market.
