AUCKLAND, Today: The AUT Ad School holds its end-of-year show in three weeks – on Tuesday 24 November, bringing to a close a year that saw dozens of students learning the craft from the discomfort of their bedrooms.
“It’s been a clusterfuck,” says ad creativity lecturer Dan Fastnedge.
“I mean a huge learning curve. They’ve met our kids and we’ve met their pets, parents and flatmates.
“They’ve met our kids – and we’ve met their pets, parents and flatmates.”
“Encouragingly, the work our students have produced in lockdown is as good as anything we’ve done in recent years.
“Our friends in the industry have been hugely supportive too and we’re incredibly happy that our end-of-year show can go ahead as planned.”
