Crave invites contractors to celebrate Christmas at Thursday

Creative agency Crave Global is throwing open the doors to its private members bar, Thursday, and inviting all contractors who work in the creative industries to an exclusive Christmas bash.

Dubbed the ‘Freelance FOMO Christmas Party’, revellers will enjoy a night of drinking and dancing, without any of the cringe-factor of embarrassing themselves in front of their co-workers.

Hadleigh Averill, Creative Director at Crave Global and co-owner of Thursday says: “We really value the contribution that contractors make to this industry and have worked with more than a few of the greats over the years. But at a time when in-house creative types are knee-deep in secret Santas, festive playlists and boozy lunches, we wanted to save our freelance friends from a lonely beer in the home office.

“So this year, we invite all the awesome freelancers that work in our industry to celebrate getting through a crazy 2020 with a whole crew of fellow contractors.”

The party, which will be held on Wednesday 16 December from 6pm at 224 Symonds Street, Auckland, is for anyone that runs a small business, is a freelancer, entrepreneur or independent creative.

Tickets cost $ 27.50 and include a drink on arrival.

Thursday offers an experimental haven for creatives and their friends. The bar is open to all members on Thursdays, and now also on Fridays during December, as members enjoy the silly season.
