SYDNEY, Thursday: After a pitch, HMD Global (aka Nokia) has appointed Adhesive AUNZ as PR, social, content & influencer agency in Australia & New Zealand.
There was no NZ incumbent – previously the AUNZ business was handled by Sydney PR agency One Green Bean.
The appointment will see Adhesive manage PR via both of its offices (Sydney and Auckland). Additionally, Adhesive will be responsible for the corporate reputation management of HMD Global.
Adhesive has been tasked with the role of developing earned-media strategies that effectively communicate HMD Global’s brand values and ensure the brand story connects with new audiences.
As part of the relationship, HMD Global will also engage Sydney’s Adhesive Studio, a new in-house production & creative workspace, “to create compelling content for the brand”.
“I’m keen to sink my teeth into local communications to inform and inspire others.”
Adhesive NZ PR head Eleisha Balmer is eager to get started: “My first mobile phone was a Nokia, so the brand has always held a special place for me.
“Fast forward a couple of decades and the more I discover about the current-day business and its dedication to sustainability, safety and security and digital wellness, the more I’m keen to sink my teeth into local communications to inform and inspire others.”
