AUCKLAND, Today: Two Kiwis Kiwi have been selected by global creative awards comp Ad Stars as preliminary judges in 2021.
They are Raymond Otene McKay, the co-founder and CCO at Māori-owned indie agency Run, and TBWA CD Ashwin Gopal.
The awards show, run out of Busan, Korea, has enjoyed an increase in entries since 2008 even during the global crisis.
McKay said: “I’m honoured to represent Aotearoa, especially as one of the very few indigenous creatives from around the world.

“I thank Ad Stars for highlighting my contribution to the industry and hope young indigenous creatives around the world can see our opinions matter as we work towards an industry that better reflects the diverse voices of the community it represents.”
