YoungShand makes GM promotion

Indie agency YoungShand has promoted Emma Dalton into the newly created General Manager role after three-and-a-half years with the agency.

Founder Duncan Shand says: “Over the past three-and-a-half years, Emma has made a significant impact on the business and has driven the transition to fully integrated creative, media and tech agency.

“Emma’s magic is the combination of sound strategic thinking with an instinctive feeling for great creative. She’s focused on improving our client’s brands, and that’s what they love about her.”

Dalton joined the agency at the beginning of 2018 and has challenged what the agency could achieve from day one.

She will still be heading up the Account Service Team, but this new role will see her leading the broader agency’s day-to-day running.

Anne Boothroyd ECD says: “It has been an absolute pleasure to work in partnership with Emma to reshape YoungShand and grow it into the exciting indie agency it is today. Emma is a class act who understands what it takes to deliver great creative work that makes a real difference for our client partners.”

Dalton says: “I am incredibly proud of what we have created at YoungShand. Building such a special team that includes all of our brilliant clients has been a career highlight for me. I’m thrilled to take on this new role as GM.

“The future for YoungShand in 2021 and beyond is shaping up to be really exciting.”

Since 2019, YoungShand has produced several campaigns that have been recognised locally and globally, elevating the agency’s profile and setting it on a strong growth trajectory. Over the past year, YoungShand has moved into their new office, brought on five new clients and welcomed 10 new team members across Creative, Media, Strategy and Account Service.

The promotion is effective immediately.
