One Show finalists – Saatchi, Special, Starcom, MSL, Sweetshop, DDB, Colenso, Motion Sickness, BigPop

NEW YORK, Today: New Zealand has secured 14 finalists for The One Show 2021 – all chosen from a shortlist released earlier this year. Australia has 40 finalists.

Special Group NZ with Sweetshop Auckland landed five finalists – three for Meddle in the Election, and two with Special Group Sydney for Tourism New Zealand Good Morning World.  

Saatchi & Saatchi with Starcom and MSL have four finalists, all for A Career-Limiting Campaign on behalf of Global Women.

Three One Show finalist spots went to DDB Aotearoa, including two for the AIDS Foundation and one for McDonald’s NZ Reflections.


“All will win a Gold, Silver, Bronze Pencil or Merit.”


With one finalist each are Colenso BBDO for Skinny Friend-vertising,and Motion Sickness with BigPop Studios, for NZ Government Internal Affairs Keep It Real Online.

Globally, Droga5 New York leads the way with 44 finalist entries. FCB Chicago has 35, DDB Chicago 30, and AMVBBDO London and TBWAMedia Arts Lab Los Angeles each with 29.

All finalists will be awarded (during Creative Week in June) a Gold, Silver, Bronze Pencil or Merit at this year’s One Show, to be announced on June 10.
