Integration transformation

AUCKLAND, Thursday: MediaWorks has today revealed a fresh new look marking the full integration of its out-of-home division into the business.

The refreshed logo was launched at an event in Auckland and follows the acquisition of outdoor media company QMS by MediaWorks in 2019. The logo will encapsulate all MediaWorks’ audio, digital, events and outdoor channels.

MediaWorks ceo Cam Wallace says the new logo is fresh and modern and really sets the stage for a new era for the company.

“This rebrand marks the final stage of the integration of QMS and it’s fantastic to have both our out-of-home and radio people working together as MediaWorks.”

“It will be progressively rolled out across 5000 outdoor advertising touchpoints across New Zealand. People will also see our new logo on all our digital channels, plus new signage will be rolled out across our MediaWorks buildings throughout the country too.

“Our out-of-home business is a leading player in the outdoor advertising space, has a clear track-record of profitability and is set to be a real growth engine for the company. This rebrand marks the final stage of the integration of QMS and it’s fantastic to have both our out-of-home and radio people working together as MediaWorks.

“Our fully integrated radio and out-of-home business offers advertisers a unique proposition with national reach, as well as growing digital opportunities – so we’re capturing audiences everywhere – whether it’s inside the house, car or office, to outside in the streets, shopping precincts and commuter networks.”

MediaWorks commercial director Liz Fraser said: “A brand is not just a name, logo or colours. It represents who we are and what we stand for.

“A brand is not just a name – it represents who we are.”

“At MediaWorks we inform, entertain and engage. Every day our talent and brands keep it local, reflecting the interests of New Zealanders and the communities they represent.

“We extend this connection through partnerships, activations and events and amplify our reach by delivering  innovative advertising solutions with the country’s fastest growing out of home media network.

“For advertisers this means MediaWorks provides powerful and repeated access to the eyes and ears of New Zealanders as they go about their lives. We capture attention so businesses can make a connection.”
