‘Kiwis make the break’. That’s the name of the latest Seven Sharp competition calling on Kiwis to remake classic TVCs.
“Can you Make The Break? Our latest challenge has you recreating one of three iconic TV commercials however you see fit. Show us what you’ve got,” reads a post on the TVNZ current affairs programme’s Facebook page.
“Just do your version of any one of these commercials and win $ 5,000 in Prezzy Cards,” explains the promo which aired this week.
So, which ads are Kiwis being tasked with recreating?
Recreate #1: AA Insurance’s ‘Dinosaur vs Unicorn’ (originally created by DDB)
Recreate #2: PAK’nSAVE’s legendary Stickman (originally created by FCB)
Recreate #3: Toyota’s new Hilux campaign (originally created by Saatchi & Saatchi)
Fancy a crack? Entries can be submitted via the Seven Sharp Facebook page.
