AUCKLAND, Thursday: MediaWorks has purchased the remaining stake in downtown marketing agency Digital Commons, becoming the company’s outright shareholder.
MediaWorks owned a majority stake in the Auckland-based digital specialist, a legacy of a QMS acquisition in 2017. QMS merged with MediaWorks in 2019.
“Lisa Ison becomes head of digital partnerships at MediaWorks.”
New site Business Desk reports that the deal for the remaining 26% of Digital Commons will mean its managing partner Lisa Ison becomes head of digital partnerships at MediaWorks.
Digital Commons is a third-party digital representation agency with a network of trading desk relationships. It represents a portfolio of publishers and brands, including Air New Zealand and AdColony.
