2022 OECD Economic Survey of NZ out next week

PARIS, Today: The OECD’s 2022 Economic Survey of New Zealand, to be released on Tuesday 1 February, analyses the challenges the country faces after having rebounded rapidly from the sharp downturn caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

It discusses the policies needed to ensure stable, sustainable growth and high living standards and takes a special look at the potential benefits of increased digitalisation.

OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann will present the Survey’s key messages and take questions at a virtual press conference on Tuesday.

NZ Finance Minister and Deputy PM Grant Robertson; the Minister for Digital Economy & Communications Dr David Clark, and Treasury ceo Dr Caralee McLiesh will also participate.

Working with over 100 countries, the OECD is a global policy forum that promotes policies to preserve individual liberty and improve the economic and social wellbeing of people around the world.
