The introduction of a Digital Marketing Services team means that MediaWorks can offer customers a 360 digital solution through one simple contact point.
The newly created team will work closely with MediaWorks’ direct sales team to offer clients search and social media campaigns, as well as marketing automation. It’s all possible thanks to a partnership with Zeald.
Megan Flynn will lead the team as Head of Digital Marketing. She joined MediaWorks from NZME where she held the role of General Manager Digital – Direct. During this time Flynn was responsible for digital marketing services and digital strategist teams. Prior to her time at NZME, she worked at Stuff as its Digital Business Development Manager and has also spent time in digital roles at both Mi9 and MSN.
She’s joined by Charlotte Ring and Katie Smith who’ll be the team’s Digital Marketing Strategists.
Before starting at MediaWorks, Ring was the Marketing & Creative Change Manager at Foodstuffs. She’s also held marketing and digital roles at PHD and Stuff.
Prior to joining MediaWorks, Smith consulted in digital sales training and held training and key account management roles at Stuff and Yellow.
Sam Hurdley will also join the team, and makes the move to the role of Digital Marketing Specialist after most recently working at MediaWorks as Account Director – Digital Commons.
MediaWorks Commercial Director Liz Fraser says the team has been created to work with both direct advertisers and other advertising partners to offer customers bespoke digital marketing solutions.
“Over the past two years, we’ve seen a major shift from both SMEs and larger enterprises to boosting online awareness and driving traffic to e-commerce platforms. With Megan, Charlotte and Katie’s expertise and knowledge in digital marketing, the team will work with MediaWorks account managers to offer our customers a full suite of products to help increase their business performance.”
The partnership with Zeald combines the power of MediaWorks with digital marketing to help businesses succeed online, says Jarra Borman, Head of Strategy at Zeald.
“It’s important that businesses of all sizes are supported to do digital well, especially at a time of such rapid digital change. Through this partnership, we will provide digital strategy and tailored solutions to help MediaWorks customers access greater markets online via digital channels, particularly mobile.”
