AUCKLAND, Tuesday: Yahoo has appointed Tama Sweetman as NZ head of sales, effective immediately. After spending 14 years in AU, Sweetman will be heading back home to Auckland for the role.
He will report to Rachel Page, the Melbourne-based AUNZ sales GM.
Page said: “I’m delighted to welcome Tama to the Yahoo family. New Zealand is a really important market for our business and I’m excited by the value Tama can add there given his knowledge and experience.”
Sweetman said: “I’m really looking forward to transitioning back to the New Zealand market and building on the team’s great success here.
“After two years stuck in lockdown in Melbourne I’ve really reflected on and come to realise what a special place New Zealand is.”

Sweetman joins from Spotify Victoria where he was group sales director.
