In a world where nearly everyone is always online, there is no offline.

Long and winding road

AUCKLAND, Today: oOh! Studio and Subway have taken sandwiches to the streets by creating huge ‘subs’ for Subway’s latest Autumn campaign.

Utilising some of oOh!’s largest ad formats in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, they sought to communicate the ‘size’ of sandwiches, whilst showcasing the array of “delicious, fresh” ingredients that Subway has to offer.

oOh! Studio concepted the idea proposing a takeover site in three main metropolitans, including a takeover of the longest bus shelter in New Zealand, located in Papanui, Christchurch.

Subway is the first advertiser to wrap the full structure, with 85 square metres of creative ad space dedicated to this campaign.

oOh!media NZ head of sales Ben Gibb said: “Subway is also the first advertiser to wrap the Wellington Underpass walls, linking eight existing poster panels with the wall spaces between them to create large creative canvases on either side of the walkway.

“The three sites will be live until Sunday 15 May.”

“It’s been awesome to be able to bring Subway’s impactful campaign to life at street level.

“Although these three sites all have different layouts, the teams have worked seamlessly to ensure each execution would be rolled out effectively to create the larger-than-life sub imagery, communicating the key messaging of capturing the ‘size’ and quality of the product, each with their own spin coming to life.”

The three sites will be live until Sunday 15 May.

The media agency was Mindshare. There was no creative agency involved – the idea was concepted up by oOh! Studio.
