The Comms Council’s Foundation course in Advertising and Media is back for 2022.
This 12-week course is essential for anyone new to the industry offering a comprehensive grounding in agency disciplines, structures, and processes.
The nine modules, presented by industry experts, cover topics from the value of brand stewardship, how to manage client relationships, the art of the brief and the importance of revenue generation, to name a few. The group then meet the CEO’s of the industry and a “view from the top”.
This year’s course curator and facilitator is Lucinda Sherborne, an expert strategist who has worked across a number of agencies in her extensive career. Lucinda will be setting assignments as part of the course inviting participants to present to their cohorts and to industry leaders.
Sherborne says: “Participants will receive a Comms council certificate of completion, with the opportunity to gain a grade of merit or honours. They’ll also get to meet and work with their peer group making connections that can last an entire career.”
