oOh! Studio is transforming the streets of Auckland into a bricktastic wonderland for the month of May to help promote ‘LEGO® Masters NZ’ on TVNZ.
Located at one of oOh!’s most desired shelters, The Symonds Street Bridge Hub, the oOh! and Blacksand team have ‘legofied’ the space, creating bursts of colour through bricks and Panorama / Superama wraps.
These shelters also feature benches that have been transformed to look like bricks and a roof display of trailing LEGO® bricks. The free standing unit (FSU) between shelters was also transformed into a giant LEGO block, now holding the title for oOh!’s biggest FSU build to date.
This eye-catching campaign is the largest takeover that oOh! has executed and designed by Blacksand; utilising bench decals, roof displays, Superama / Panorama wraps and a giant LEGO brick covering the FSU.
Ben Gibb, Head of Sales at oOh!media NZ says: “To bring to life a special build of this size has been awesome. We’ve transformed one of our largest sites to look and feel completely like a LEGO Masters NZ masterpiece. From the roof displays on all the shelters, to the seats being transformed to look like LEGO bricks, this build is an exceptional example of how simplicity is sometimes the most effective way to go.”
Virginia Cook, Senior Marketing Manager at TVNZ adds: “We wanted to capture the attention of the audience with this special build by using iconic LEGO imagery with a Kiwiana twist to help promote ‘LEGO Masters NZ. We’re thrilled to see this unmissable campaign come to life with the help of oOh! Studio.”
The special build will be live at the Symonds St Bridge Hub until June 5, 2022.
