New Zealand oat milk maker Otis has inked a deal with FMCG sales agency Twin Agencies for its New Zealand sales and merchandising from today.
Otis is the first new brand in eight years to join Twin’s stable, known for only representing Kiwi brands with a strong purpose to do good for New Zealand.
Tim Ryan, Otis Co-founder, is thrilled to confirm the partnership.
“Otis is extremely proud to announce Twin Agencies as our new sales team. We see this partnership as a critical piece of the puzzle to cement ourselves as one of the main players in the plant-based food and beverage landscape in Aotearoa.
“We have big plans to rapidly scale up growth across retail, wholesale and the route trade and we’re delighted that Twin shares our vision and will be along for the ride. We’re also chuffed to be in the very good company of Twin’s brand family,” says Ryan.
Twin Agencies represents the gold standard of local FMCG brands; their portfolio including Whittaker’s, Ecostore, Barkers, L’affarre, Hubbards Foods, Farrah’s, Heartland Chips, Robert Harris and RJ’s.
Twin Managing Director, Shane Webby, says the business is looking forward to helping Otis achieve their growth goals.
“The Twin team is extremely excited to take Otis to the next level. The plant milk category has seen a 195% dollar growth year on year, and leading the charge in market share is Otis. We’re looking forward to teaming up and leveraging the infinite opportunities for this category.”
Ryan says Otis has an underlying philosophy to lead a plant-based revolution, and to help the world change from intensive dairy farming to environmentally friendly alternatives.
“Twin’s mission is to grow New Zealand brands that do good for people and their communities. We are two businesses aligned to improve our planet while committed to giving New Zealanders an oat milk that is good for their bodies, and tasty to boot.”
