AUCKLAND, Wednesday: International beauty brand Lush has appointed Eleven PR NZ as its agency of record following a competitive pitch. There was – according to an Eleven spokesperson – no incumbent.
Lush was founded in 1995 in Poole, Dorset, UK. The company grew in prominence thanks to its ethical campaigning and invention of the bath bomb. Lush opened its first New Zealand store in 2000.
Its global reach includes seven New Zealand stores. Eleven PR will be retained to raise awareness of the brand, its products as well as its ethical and sustainable business practices.
“The win follows a positive start to the year for Eleven with a growth in the number of PR-led events and activations.”
“The team at Eleven PR really understood our brand. They shared our vision, recognised the opportunities and presented some fun and creative ideas for how we can bring Lush to life in the mind of the Kiwi consumer,” says Sydney-based Sonia Chiarelli, Lush AUNZ marketing communications manager.
Eleven PR NZ MD Angelina Farry said: “The win follows a positive start to the year for Eleven with a growth in the number of PR-led events and activations delivered for clients including creative executions for PlayStation NZ, Asahi’s Long White RTD brand and new client, Amazon’s Prime Video.
“Security as a service tech brand, Sailpoint was also won following a competitive pitch.
“Lush is an incredibly successful, ethical business with amazing values. They’re an awesome team and we’re looking forward to doing some great work together.”
