“Advertising and culture are intertwined. At our best, advertising is informed by the culture in which it operates, and in turn informs that culture. Until our industry is fully representative of Aotearoa and all the cultures that live here, we will not be the best we can be,” says Simon Lendrum, CEO Comms Council.
“He hoa takirua te whakatairanga me te ahurea. Ko te painga atu mēnā kua whai te whakatairanga i te ara e takahia nei e te ahurea, ā, kia tauaro hoki tēnā. Kia tae rā anō tā mātou ahumahi ki tēnā whakakanohitanga whānui o Aotearoa, me ōna tini iwi e noho mai nei, kāhore mātou e ekea te puhikaioreore,” hei tā Simon Lendrum, Tumu o te Kaunihera Whakapānga.
