Auckland-based social media agency, Culture, has taken out the top honour at the Social Media Marketing Awards and has been named The Best Social Media Agency across all categories.
Recognising and honouring the best in social media campaigns across Australia and New Zealand, Culture was included on an impressive finalists list. The Social Media Marketing Institute’s, Social Media Marketing Awards are judged by industry peers across categories including business, platform, campaign, and strategy and innovation.
Culture was entered into Best Cross Platform Campaign for their work on KFC, Lolli-pop Chicken, Best Integrated Campaign for Rebel Sport, Get Christmas Fit and Best Use of Facebook for Briscoes, Live Life Better Campaign.
Culture CEO, Ryan Newton says the team are delighted with the win.
“The last 12 months have thrown up many challenges, not only for the industry but for the people working in it. This win goes a long way to acknowledging the talent and work ethic within the team. “Our team has doubled in size over the past year, as we’ve grown our client base and the best thing is, we’re just getting started. I know we have so much more we can achieve for our client partners,” says Newton.
Awards were announced Thursday, August 18 in a virtual ceremony with Culture also acknowledging their peers and fellow finalists.
“To receive these accolades is a great honour, particularly when some of the social media campaigns we have seen this year have been outstanding.
“We’re already looking forward to entering next year’s Awards based on the client campaigns we have been working on in 2022,” says Newton.
