New Acer laptop launched with cinematic concept film

In collaboration with Acer, electriclime° has built and produced a cinematic concept and film for the laptop company’s Swift Edge launch.

Shot in three stunning locations around Sydney and its outskirts, the film brings to light the laptop’s key features.

The piece, crafted by Director Pabz Alexander, Director of Photography Tom Black and there team, follows a trio of young professionals and individuals who seek the perfect work/life balance and show the ability to connect from home or on the go.

Through a combination of drone shots and underwater camerawork, the viewer is engaged throughout and taken on a journey through the protagonists’ eyes.

Meanwhile, the laptop remained centre-stage with product mood shots to show the features which will resonate with key markets around the world.

This included highlighting the Acer Swift Edge supporting the work demands of on-the-go professionals, combining performance and durability in a 16-inch lightweight laptop.

Meanwhile, it is a secured-core PC powered by AMD Ryzen PRO 6000 Series processors and delivers sublime visuals on a 4K OLED display.

electriclime° Senior Producer Dora Claire David says the project was an exciting challenge.

“When we get the chance to use stunning locations it really helps bring a film to life and this worked perfectly with the ideas implemented.

“Working with Acer and showcasing their new product was a great experience and to build the concept from scratch really showed off electriclime’s talents from pre-production through to delivery.”
