With demand increasing for custom podcast products, Daylight is announcing a move into audio in partnership with The Spinoff.
The new offering is designed to deliver bespoke audio products and promotional campaigns across industries, issues and interests for brands with a story to tell.
“This is a really unique offering we’re excited about here at Daylight. To be able to concept, cast, script narratives and wrap content around podcasts for our clients has been a really fun outlet for our creative teams. We’re often working across many different mediums, so to have this high-spec audio component we can create in-house adds a whole other dimension to the way we work,” says Lee Lowndes, Managing Director.
The podcast studio, run by the specialist team that produces some of Aotearoa’s most popular podcasts, including When the Facts Change, Gone By Lunchtime and The Shit Show, is led by head of podcasts Jane Yee and supported by a team of expert sound engineers.
“Globally, podcasts are booming, and rapid New Zealand growth in listenership reflects this trend. There are many exciting and flexible opportunities to deeply engage with a target audience through podcasts. And with our longstanding experience in this space, we know what works and what doesn’t. We’ve loved working closely with clients to tell their stories and craft some really important kōrero,” says Yee.
Clients are able to access white-label services and work collaboratively with Daylight to concept and develop audio products, identity design and campaign rollouts.
Already working with the likes of New Zealand Police, TradeJobs and Auckland Council, this is just the start of what’s to come.
