Stuff offers support for flood-affected businesses

In response to the floods in late January, Stuff, and its community platform Neighbourly, have put together a range of free advertising packages to help customers and businesses across flood-affected regions.

Since the extreme weather event, Stuff has been connecting with its customers and talking to business owners to understand their needs and priorities.

Executive Commercial Director Matt Headland says: “We’ve had our own employees here at Stuff who’ve been affected and we know the immediate actions have focused on cleanup and salvage operations.

“Businesses are now starting to look at how they can move forward. We’ve listened to the needs of our local communities and we want to do what we can to help.”

The free advertising packages* are redeemable across a range of Stuff platforms, including Neighbourly. These are valued at up to $ 7,500 per business and are available at no cost for a four-week period. The Neighbourly offer includes a free premium business listing for three months.

Businesses who would like to take up the offer can contact Stuff and Neighbourly before 28 February 2023 to apply for a free flood relief package.

*Flood relief packages:

Advertising packages valued up to $ 7,500 are available at no cost to affected businesses for a four-week period. These are redeemable across Stuff’s platforms – including Stuff.co.nz, Neighbourly, and Stuff’s extensive range of newspapers (excluding magazines). Commercial advertising packages are subject to availability and terms and conditions.

Neighbourly Premium listings help businesses boost their local presence by connecting with the community directly around their business. In addition to featured inclusion in the Neighbourly local business directory, listings enable SMEs to engage with neighbours to ask for help, share new operating hours, move damaged stock or simply to give thanks for recent support. Terms and conditions apply.
