Alex Grover (she/her) has been appointed as the new General Manager – Wellington at Catch Design, as part of the company’s expansion efforts in New Zealand.
With offices in Auckland and Wellington, Catch Design currently employs 35 staff. In her new role, Grover will be responsible for managing several Wellington-based clients, including TSB Bank, VTNZ, and the Institute of Directors. She will also join Catch Design’s Senior Leadership team to provide support for the agency’s ongoing development.
She joins Auckland General Manager counterpart, Carl Jackson, in taking responsibility for the Catch client roster, which also includes Mercury NZ, AA Smartfuel NZ Olympic Committee and Fullers 360.
Hamish Stevenson, founder and chief executive of Catch Design, says Grover has been an integral part of Catch Design’s success and it was a no-brainer to promote her to this role.
“Alex has done an outstanding job leading the delivery of a number of large and complex digital projects over the last five years. She is a hugely valuable member of the Catch team and is exceptional at building client relationships and leading teams. I’m looking forward to having Alex on the Leadership Team as we continue to win new business.”
Grover says she is extremely proud of what she has achieved at Catch Design so far. “Working with an amazing group of talented humans at Catch alongside clients who are very much part of our team has been incredibly rewarding. I’m excited to be part of Catch’s future growth and to continue to support our team to deliver outstanding work.”
