AUCKLAND, Today: The Commercial Communications Council reports that tickets for tonight’s big Axis Awards show 2023 are sold out.
The 43rd annual Axis Awards and the associated speaker event, Axis Speaks, will be held at Shed 10 (89 Quay St, Auckland CBD) from 6pm till late.
Comms Council head of comms & events James Wotton said: “We will be looking at our largest Axis yet.
“After a four- year hiatus, Axis Speaks is returning and the Comms Council wishes to raise the profile of this event and reach a wider audience.
“The audience is therefore not only limited to the advertising industry, but also includes clients, CEOs, CFOs, and other members of the business community.
“The speakers include Susan Credle, New York-based global chair & global chief creative officer of FCB.”
“This year’s Axis Speaks will see four world class creatives take the stage to inspire the New Zealand creative advertising community for the year ahead.

Comms Cuncil ceo Simon Lendrum said: “It’s really exciting to see a high number of entries in this year’s awards along with the revival of the Axis Speaks event.
“Our intention is to see our creative advertising community take a day out to celebrate the success of our best campaigns from the past 12 months and hear from some truly world-class thought leaders around creativity and be inspired for the year ahead.”

The Axis Award winners will be revealed at the awards show to be held later that evening.
