Independent PR agency, Undertow Media, with its activation work in the field of wining and dining, has been attracting some successful brands from across New Zealand and abroad.
Off the back of the launch of Better Beer last year with Inspired Unemployed, the agency has been appointed as the PR partner for Heineken, Foley Wines, and has projects with Roku gin and Maker’s Mark bourbon also underway.
Assisting the green bottle masters with sponsorships, celebrating brand milestones and developing brand strategy, the team at Undertow is keen to bring Heineken’s brand story to the fore.
Strengthening the beverage portfolio, Foley Wines has also signed on with Undertow Media this year.
The agency has been tasked with looking after media relations and activations for its top-shelf tipples across Mt Difficulty, Vavasour, Te Kairanga, Martinborough Vineyard, Grove Mill, Russian Jack, Dashwood and independent distillery, Lighthouse Gin. In addition, it will also be helping Foley Wines launch a new world-class hospitality destination in Martinborough later this year.
“The team were thirsty for a new challenge, and both Heineken and Foley Wines have delivered tenfold with some incredible activations and creative strategy already underway,” says Greer Bland, Managing Director of Undertow.
Complementing the wins across the beverage portfolio, Wharekauhau Lodge and Red Seal have partnered with Undertow Media to work across activations, corporate communications and seasonal creative campaigns.
“It’s been an exceptional start to the year with some epic new clients joining our growing line-up of food, drinks and destination brands,” says Victoria Cooper-Smith, Senior Account Director at Undertow Media.
“From down under cold bevvys to luxury accommodation once graced by Kate & Will, the team are beyond thrilled with the calibre of accounts and PR work coming into the agency – delivered by the best team going,” she adds.
Undertow media was founded in 2013 and continue to grow quietly behind the scenes boasting a range of fantastic clients such as Countdown, Beam Suntory, SIXT, Nourish Group, Better Beer, Logitech and Dulux, to name a few.
