Comms Council calls for industry participation in Global DEI Census 2023

The Commercial Communication Council is urging people in New Zealand’s advertising and marketing industry to take part in the Global DEI Census 2023 and share their opinions.

This survey is 100 percent anonymous and investigates people’s experience working in the marketing and advertising industry across the world. The census is currently underway until 15 April.

The Global DEI Census 2023 is a benchmark for diversity, equity, and inclusion within the global marketing and advertising industry. Delivered in partnership with the biggest industry organisations worldwide, including the WFA, Cannes Lions, Effie Worldwide, Advertising Week, Campaign Magazine, Adweek, and others, the census is a chance for agencies and brands to evaluate the industry’s progress towards DEI and track global industry progress.

The results will be released globally in June 2023 at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and will answer the question, “How are we doing as an industry, and where do we need to improve?”

Anyone who works in advertising and marketing can fill in the survey, regardless of their job title or seniority, and it takes around 15 minutes to complete. The survey is completely anonymous, ensuring that people can share their honest opinions.

The Global DEI Census 2023 is underway now, and the Comms Council is encouraging everyone in the advertising and marketing industry in New Zealand to participate and share their voice.
