Following a successful competitive pitch, Family Planning has entrusted the Special Wellington team to conduct a historical brand review.
The not-for-profit charitable organisation has been operating since 1936 and has stood as Aotearoa’s leading provider and courageous advocate for equitable sexual and reproductive well-being rights. Offering clinical services, health promotion, and providing resources across the country, Family Planning is a crucial component in our society.
Family Planning Chief Executive Jackie Edmond says: “Family Planning prides itself on evolving with the changing needs of people in Aotearoa. While definitions of family and society’s relationship to sexual and reproductive health have shifted dramatically, our brand has remained unchanged for decades, it’s important that we ensure it’s fit-for-the-future and relevant to everyone who uses our services and those we’re working hard to reach.”
Matt Barnes, Special Wellington Lead Business Partner says: “We are committed to building a more equitable Aotearoa and are thrilled to support an organisation that does that on a daily basis.”
Edmond adds: “We are delighted to be working with the team at Special Wellington. They understand how to deal with sensitive topics and complex systems, and we know they genuinely care about our kaupapa.”
