Integrated Indie agency YoungShand has appointed the experienced media exec Megan Flynn as Head of Media Partnerships.
“We’re excited to bring Megan into the team. Megan has a strong media background across almost all of New Zealand’s major publishers,” says Duncan Shand.
“Megan’s publishing experience will help us create strong win-win partnerships with them. We know this will drive a lot of value for our clients. Meg’s also an incredibly nice person who will get alongside our clients and work with them to drive business results.”
This year YoungShand has doubled down on its focus of working with ambitious Challenger Brands. “Challenger brands have to get everything right and our new integrated approach managing strategy, creative, digital and media just makes things better, faster, and easier for our clients. We have a clear approach that ensures everything works together to drive unreasonable results. Having a strong media offering is a key part of our integrated offering that we are continuing to invest in,” says Shand.
Recently Hamish Pilgrem joined as a Digital Campaign Manager after developing his digital skills at PHD and Leina Barke also joined the team as Media Planner Buyer bringing a depth of TV buying experience from OMD. In addition to investments in people, YoungShand has also invested in GWI as a leading consumer research tool and Bionic as a media planning and operations tool.
Megan says: “I’m excited to be working with really inspiring creative, strategic and digital teams and impressed with the systems that are in place to deliver strong media results. Together, with my publisher side experience, I know we will come up with innovative media territories and drive real value for our customers in unique and compelling ways.”
