AUCKLAND, Today: Special PR has announced two new hires. Eleanor Ashdown has come on board as senior account director, with Jessica Walker joining her as account manager within the agency’s newly expanded Consumer Business division.
The pair will provide strategic PR solutions and management for clients including Kiwibank, Contact, New Zealand Trade & Enterprise and Datacom.
Ashdown joins Special PR from Herd MSL, with nearly a decade’s worth of experience as a communications consultant in the Corpsumer arena.
“Both bring diverse knowledge and skills that will be invaluable in driving activity for our consumer business clients.”
She said: “It’s extremely exciting to be joining arguably the best creative PR agency in New Zealand.”
Walker joins Special PR from Attivo PR (formerly Aruga), where her clients spanned FMCG, not-for-profit, retail and hospitality.

Based in the Auckland office, the appointments have immediate effect.
