Marketing Manager / Auckland / $110k – $120k

Are you a proven B2B marketer looking for your next career move? Our client is a progressive New Zealand-owned services company, expanding across the APAC region and looking for a talented Marketing Manager to join their team.

You’ll need to be an action-oriented, all-round marketer with solid digital marketing and project management skills. Experience in communications / PR direct to businesses is a bonus and excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management and relationship skills are a must.

This work will be varied and includes managing the PR, social media and digital agencies as well as working with teams in different countries. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role offers potential for growth as the business expands its product offering to its network of brokers and its markets offshore.

This exciting role will suit someone with strong commercial experience in professional services and diverse background in 360-degree marketing for a business to business operation. If you’re passionate about working across a broad scope of marketing activity, getting things done and would describe yourself as a Marketing and Communications specialist, then this role may be the role for you!

The breakdown

We are looking for a Marketing Manager experienced in:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ marketing experience
  • Professional Services Experience (Banking, Insurance, Finance, Tech is a bonus)
  • Expertise in B2B Marketing

Proven experience managing B2B Marketing including:

  • Go-to-Market product launches, including target audience identification, messaging, positioning, and promotional strategies.
  • Digital Marketing strategies and execution to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition.
  • Optimising digital platforms, including websites, Linked In accounts, email marketing systems, and other digital channels
  • Brand and marketing communications, PR, events and sponsorship activities

Expertise in other areas including…

  • Building and managing dynamic relationships with external agencies and suppliers
  • Project managing the production of collateral, such as brochures, presentations, case studies, videos, and sales enablement tools.
  • Developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels to drive product awareness and sales.
  • Generating engaging and persuasive content for digital marketing initiatives, including website copy, blog posts, social media posts, email campaigns, and ad copy, ensuring consistent brand messaging and tone.
  • Solid at (SEO) keyword research, optimising website content, and managing paid search campaigns (SEM) to improve search engine visibility and drive targeted traffic.
  • Performance reporting, including analytics and providing actionable insights.
  • Conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for innovation.
