AUCKLAND, Today: Prominent ad-media professionals have made the finals of the 2023 annual NZEA Event Awards, which recognise excellence, innovation, and leadership across the full breadth of the sector, including event producers, sponsors, suppliers and individuals.

Comms Council head of events James Wotton is a finalist in the Best Established Event Professional category, while Stuff’s Central Districts Field Days made it through in the ANZ Business of The Year category.

“The industry is keen to be recognised after a tough few years.”

Together the events contribute millions to the economy and stimulate national and local businesses.

NZEA GM Elaine Linnell said: “This year has seen the highest number of entries in the history of the awards.

“They show the industry is keen to be recognised after a tough few years.

“I am so proud and excited for everyone to celebrate their successes at the Gala Dinner in Ōtautahi Christchurch on Thursday 9 November.”
