BERLIN, Today: Special & Scoundrel took out APAC Agency of the Year & Production Company of the Year at the Ciclope Awards in Germany.
Ciclope honours well-crafted work from across the Asia-Pacific’s region, recognising work within the Direction, Animation, Visual Effects, Cinematography, Editing and Music Video.
The jury awarded just two Grand Prix – The first for Kathmandu Summer Never Sleeps, directed by Daniel Warwick, produced by Scoundrel and created by Special New Zealand.
The second big trophy of the night went to Tae-Mong Korea for Maria Fertility Hospital.
Scoundrel and Special were also winners in both the Direction – 90seconds and Under and Music categories, as well as collecting a further four shortlists.
Finch & DDB score, too
Finch & DDB Aotearoa were the only other winners from New Zealand, in the Low Budget’ section for Correct the Internet as well has collecting a shortlist.
