Goat farm invites Aotearoa to get up close and Palmy

AUCKLAND, Today: TGF and the Palmerston North City Council invite you to consider spending your next long weekend in Palmerston North, the jewel of the Manawatū.

“With its unbeatable central location and higher density of dining options than any other New Zealand city, finding things to celebrate about Palmy was a breeze,” says TGF creative director Vaughn Davis.

“We tested a bunch of different imagery with different audiences so learned a lot for future campaigns.”

“As a young RNZAF pilot at Ohakea, Palmy was our Friday night go-to,” he says. “But revisiting Palmy this year has been a real eye-opener. With the museum, the river, the shops, so many great places to eat and drink and did we mention New Zealand’s longest miniature railway… it’s just crying out for a closer look.”

Palmy Marketing Manager Jessica Papple expresses satisfaction with the campaign’s progress and its role in changing perceptions of Palmy.

“We tested a bunch of different imagery with different audiences, so learned a lot for future campaigns – including how well our dining options resonate with couples looking for a foodie destination.”
