Air New Zealand’s inflight magazine Kia Ora has been crowned World’s Leading Inflight Magazine at the 30th edition of the World Travel Awards 2023.
The award comes following a strong year for Kia Ora, which has increased readership by 54 percent to 414,000 readers each month.
The achievement was marked at a gala ceremony at the iconic Burj Al Arab Jumeirah resort in Dubai and Graham E. Cooke founder of the World Travel Awards says the award reflects the “hard work, drive, passion and commitment to excellence that Kia Ora has demonstrated over the course of 2023”.
Other nominees for the award included American Way from American Airlines, FijiTime from Fiji Airways, and Hemispheres from United Airlines.
