AUCKLAND, Today: The IAB New Zealand unveiled its latest Digital Advertising Revenue Report today, shedding light on the digital advertising landscape in New Zealand for Q3 2023.
Digital ad revenues in New Zealand hit $ 534.8 million in Q3 2023, marking a robust 7.3% year-on-year increase.
IAB New Zealand’s CEO, Angelina Farry, remarked, “It’s positive to see such strong digital advertising growth in market. Q3 is the strongest quarter of 2023 so far, delivering solid year on year growth.”
This report, a collaborative effort between IAB New Zealand and Baker Tilly Staples Rodway, draws from comprehensive Q3 2023 data.

Social media advertising led Q3 growth at 20%, with Search advertising following at 11.3%.
In the Total Display sector, Audio and Video channels saw the most significant growth, at 36.1% and 18.8% respectively.
Real Estate topped the Total Display advertising categories with a 63.4% year-on-year surge.
