NZME lands exclusive partnership with TED

AUCKLAND, Today: A new multi-year deal makes NZME the exclusive sales rep for TED’s podcasts in New Zealand. NZME’s Podcast Network will handle ad sales for TED, showcasing a broad range of topics.

NZME celebrates this as a milestone, with over 86 million podcast downloads last year. TED Talks Daily leads, drawing thousands monthly in New Zealand and achieving 214,000 downloads in January 2024.

James Butcher, NZME’s Head of Digital Audio, expresses excitement about the exclusive partnership with TED. “Everyone has heard of TED Talks – it’s a globally renowned brand and massively popular, so we’re thrilled to be partnering with TED podcasts exclusively here in New Zealand.”
