FEDERATION has unveiled a second major appointment to its senior leadership team in as many months, announcing Olly Walker-Boden as Managing Director to lead the Auckland-based agency day-to-day. The news follows Brad Collett joining as CCO in January.

Walker-Boden joined FEDERATION in 2018 from Colenso BBDO and has been a key contributor to the agency’s success during that time, helping to carve out a reputation for high-quality client partnerships in strategy and creative work. Prior to New Zealand, Walker-Boden was based in the UK working at London agencies RKCR/Y&R and Glue Isobar across numerous blue-chip clients such as Adidas, Budweiser, Lloyds Banking Group and Vodafone.

FEDERATION, now sitting as one of New Zealand’s most-established independent agencies, has experienced four years of consistent growth and has enjoyed several notable new client wins in the past twelve months. The agency’s new leadership team plans to strengthen its presence in both Auckland and Wellington, while supporting key clients in the Australian market.
Henderson adds, “2023 was a huge year for us. We delivered some mightily impressive work for our existing long-term clients and welcomed some fantastic new clients to FEDERATION including The Co-operative Bank, KiwiRail, Villa Maria and global on-demand delivery service DoorDash. With the appointments of Olly and Brad, and some significant new briefs in development, 2024 is off to a flyer.’’
