Our Auckland-based client, a full-service independent creative agency is investing in business growth and is now seeking a top-performing suit and business development expert. This role will focus on new client acquisition, with the successful candidate bringing their high-level relationships and astute new business acumen into the team.
They will be responsible for the management of new business plans, networking, and pulling together agency resources for powerful RFP pitches, lead generation, and converting this into new long-lasting business.
The successful recruit will have the energy and marketing campaign credentials in creative, digital, and brand to make an instant impression and genuinely add value to grow existing clients and attract new clients. About 70% of their time will be on new business, the balance will be integrating big ideas for TVCs, collateral, print ads, radio, digital, and social media campaigns for clients.
They will be uber-strong at forming strong and trusting client relationships, where people will trust and buy off them. They are ready in their career for the flexibility and empowerment that a role with an enticing 8% on all revenue commission structure rewards success.

The breakdown
We are looking for someone who has:
- Minimum 12 years of creative, digital or marketing agency commercial experience
- Min 2 years in new business acquisition
- Industry-relevant experience
- Well-networked and regarded in the agency and client world
- Excellent at building and retaining strong client relationships
- Brings proven success in campaign management.

- A proven agency senior suit with experience working on big brands
- Enjoys and excels at building client relationships
- Can put together a large integrated campaign
- Writes with clarity and is an outstanding communicator
- Can run and pull together new business pitches
- Works collaboratively internally
