AUCKLAND, Wednesday: Go Media just secured a Toitū net carbonzero certification, following their recent carbonzero print initiative with SCG Printers. They measured all operational emissions, had them verified, and offset the unavoidable ones to achieve net zero.
This certification underlines Go Media’s commitment to sustainability by actively measuring, reducing, and offsetting their carbon footprint.
Go Media Operations Manager, Cassandra Albert, shared her excitement. “With Toitū, we are excited to be empowered with the information we need to make operational changes that will reduce our carbon footprint on Papatūānuku (the land), in alignment with one of our core values of Aotearoa Tūturu (forever New Zealand).”
Besides their recent certification, Go Media is also involved in other eco-initiatives. They are a founding member of Ad Net Zero, an Impact Investor in the Sustainable Business Network, and a launch partner of Scope3, aiming to measure digital media emissions.
