Thinkerbell boosts CX power with Hardhat acquisition

AUCKLAND, Today: Thinkerbell has acquired Hardhat, a top Australian CX company founded by Dan Monheit in 2005, to enhance its customer experience capabilities.

Margie Reid, Thinkerbell’s CEO, said, “Dan and Hardhat are best in class at what they do, and we are always looking for ways to help our clients build their brands with our particular brand of Measured Magic.”

She emphasised the importance of expanding capabilities across all customer touchpoints and highlighted the unique strengths Hardhat brings to Thinkerbell. “This will in turn help us to continue creating brand-led business transformation for our clients.”

Reflecting on recent milestones, Margie noted, “Along with our expansion into New Zealand, our buying back of the PwC equity, and some deeper investments into production, it’s been a big year or so for Thinkerbell.”

Dan Monheit will become a partner at Thinkerbell as Chief CX Thinker. “When the opportunity came knocking to do something bigger with Thinkerbell, it was just too compelling to ignore,” he said. He believes their combined strengths will bring new opportunities for clients.

Over time, Hardhat will be retired as a brand, merging fully into Thinkerbell.
